How to dispose of electrical equipment and batteries responsibly.

Keep electricals out of household rubbish

The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol means electrical products and batteries need separate collection. Do not put them in household rubbish or mixed recycling.

Separate collection helps recover useful materials and keeps harmful substances out of the environment. Check your local council’s electrical and battery recycling arrangements and take equipment to a suitable collection point.

Batteries and damaged equipment

Do not dismantle the camera or lights just to remove a battery for disposal. Ask the collection service whether it accepts the complete product, or contact us for guidance.

If a battery is swollen, leaking, damaged or unusually hot, stop using or charging it. Contact support@zu3d.com before sending anything. Do not use ordinary post for damaged lithium batteries.

Ask us about your equipment

Email support@zu3d.com with the product you want to recycle and your postcode so we can help with the appropriate route.
